Job description
- Candidates will work to enhance platform and application performance at a large scale and increase reliability, redundancy, and availability to achieve 5 9’s or greater with zero scheduled downtime.
Requirements
- Candidates should be familiar and experienced with security in the AWS environment, operating LXC containers, docker, ES2, EC2, Application Firewall, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudFlare, database options and disaster recovery.
- Candidates should have solid experience with Jira, Git, Docker, Jenkins, and other Dev/Sec/Ops tools.
- Candidates should be familiar with infrastructure as code and platform automation
- UNIX, LINUX systems administration experience
- Networking, DNS, and Security Experience
- Implement the application’s CI/CD pipeline using the Jenkins
- Write Infrastructure as Code in (Terraform/Chef/Puppet/CloudFormation)
- Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to enhance it.
- This is primarily a *nix environment.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative team.
- A computer science degree and/or similar and relevant experience required
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English, other languages will help as we have a global customer and partner base
